The Cylon Journalist Returns

As reported previously by SyFy Portal and other news sites, Lucy


Lawless -- best known as Xena: The Warrior Princess -- has joined


"Battlestar Galactica" in a recurring guest star role beginning in the


third season of the SciFi Channel show.





Lawless plays D'Anna Biers, a Cylon journalist, who first appeared in


"Final Cut" during the first half of the second season. She also is


scheduled to appear in an upcoming episode, "Downloaded."





Her third season appearances will center around a 10-episode arc, and


begins production in Vancouver, Canada, in April.





Battlestar Galactica airs Fridays at 10 p.m. ET on SciFi Channel.
