kagey and I have been receiving inquiries about when the comm will resume. We've decided to wait until all of season two has aired on Sci Fi.In a couple of weeks we'll be asking for suggestions for discussion topics, and things needing celebrating like Rodney's grey t-shirt. Joe! Joe! Joe!
There are a lot of wonderful JF moments in SGA. He's a joy to watch--his acting is quiet and subtle, and even if he just has a small role in a scene, he's always reacting to everything and everyone around him. Especially with Rodney. *g* And we know from "Sanctuary" that when he's trying to be romantic and smooth, he just comes across as adorably dorky. He has some great moments in all the eps, but I think his meatiest role so far has been in Letters from Pegasus.From his initial discomfort when he realizes Teyla is offering to rescue Orin and the villagers, to their conversation in the jumper where he tells Teyla " You can only fight the battles you can win."(caps courtesy of stargatecaps.com)There's a glimpse of something darker going on, and you can't help but wonder where he learned that lesson. I really like the way JF plays it.
